Dr. Ruxandra Oana Vlad is an Assistant Professor of Homeland Security, specializing in counterterrorism stratagems and defence intelligence. She has lectured at the University of Warwick, University of Carleton, and the University of Waterloo, on topics ranging from international law to emerging defence technologies, intelligence analytical methods, and intelligence theories and applications. Her experience in academia is complimented by the practical skills she acquired advising, collaborating, and consulting with international scholars, intelligence agencies, and think tanks on matters of counterterrorism, international law, cyber terror networks, technologically innovative weapons systems, and international security more broadly.
