1 Register online

  • Register online before the show and print your print-at-home badge on A4 sheet before traveling and present it at the airport to get the quarantine exemption at the border, which is for international travelers only (not UAE residents).
  • Book at one of our recommended hotels to have your PCR testing on-site, and shuttle buses service from the hotel to transport you to the events.
Online Registration

2 At the airport

    • Present your printat-home event badge.
    • Present a valid negative PCR result.
    • Do a PCR test upon arrival.
    • Quarantine at your hotel room until you receive the PCR test result which will be sent within a maximum of 24 hours through SMS.
    • In case you are traveling through Dubai or Sharjah airports, you can proceed to Abu Dhabi directly after doing the PCR test in the airport and no need to wait in Dubai or Sharjah.

3 At the Entrance

  • Present your print-at-home event badge.
  • Present a valid negative PCR result.
  • The validity of the PCR test is dependent on the segment that you fall under.

4 At the Entrance

  • A sanitised lanyard and a plastic badge holder will be handed to the attendees to insert their print-athome badge in.

5 At the Show

  • Wear your face mask and follow the prevention measures implemented at the venue at all times.

6 Leaving Abu Dhabi

  • Book your PCR test at the nearby testing centre in Zayed Sports City through SEHA app if you have a car, or book your appointment at any other hospital if you will be dropped off.

Visiting IDEX, NAVDEX & IDC 2021

IMPORTANT REMINDERS AND UPDATES

  • The quarantine exemption is for International visitors who do not have a UAE residence permit or an Emirates ID
  • For international attendees: the validity of the negative PCR test is 48 hours before entering the exhibition and must be repeated. The 18th of February test rule that was published earlier is invalid anymore starting from February 17th.
  • For residents in the UAE: the validity of the negative PCR test is 48 hours for unvaccinated attendees and 7 days for vaccinated attendees and must be repeated. The 18th of February test rule that was published earlier is invalid anymore starting from February 17th.
  • No on-site registration. Only online registration is accepted.
  • At the airport, make sure to mention that you are attending IDEX & NAVDEX and present your badge at all touchpoints
  • For the international travelers, at the entrance of the venue, make sure to present your test result via Al Hosn App, via SMS or via a printout of the test result .
  • For residents of the UAE, only Alhosn App will be accepted.
  • Sanitise your hands before entry and before exit
  • Keep your face masks on at all times
  • Maintain physical distancing and avoid hand contact

Online Registration

Traveling to Abu Dhabi

International attendees from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah borders will be exempted from the current quarantine procedure upon arrival into the UAE starting from February 1st, 2021 but must follow the below:

  1. Present a colored print-athome badge at the airport.
  2. Present a negative PCR test result at the airport.
  3. Validity of the test is based on the latest COVID-19 travel and specific testing requirements for your destination.
  4. Mention that you are attending IDEX and NAVDEX at Immigration and when doing the PCR test

RULES FOR ENTERING IDEX, NAVDEX & IDC 2021

INTERNATIONAL Travelers

Those coming from outside the country through air, land and sea borders:
  • A PCR test to be done on arrival to the UAE. Another PCR test to be done on the 6th day and 12th day of arrival.
  • You must do a PCR test once every forty-eight hours to gain access to the exhibitions. A negative PCR test result must be presented at the security gates to enter the show. PCR Tests will be free-of-charge for the residents staying at one of the 19 hotels which have been recommended in page 6. The visitor needs to present their negative PCR test results on a printout or an SMS text message.
  • You can present your test result via the AlHosn application, the UAE’s COVID-19 tracking mobile application, or via SMS text, or via a printed-out result, when entering the exhibitions.
  • The 18th of February test rule that was published earlier is invalid anymore starting from February 17th.
  • PCR test must be repeated every 48 hours to get access to the exhibitions.
  • You can download the AlHosn application either on the iOS App Store for iPhones, or through the Google Play Store for Android phones. You can register through the unified number given to you at the UAE airport check-in counters or your ID number on your Emirates ID.
  • Make sure that you have a negative PCR test result printout to use when you travel back to your country. The validity of the test needs to be checked with the airlines.

UAE RESIDENTS

Those who are unvaccinated against COVID-19:
  • PCR test must be done at least 48 hours ahead of exhibitions, and must be repeated every 48 hours to keep accessing the exhibitions on daily basis.
  • The 18th of February test rule that was published earlier is invalid anymore starting from February 17th.
  • You must do a PCR test once every forty-eight hours to gain access to the exhibitions. A negative PCR test result must be presented at the security gates to enter the show. PCR Tests will be free-of-charge for the residents staying at one of the 19 hotels which have been recommended by IDEX and NAVDEX.
  • You must use Al Hosn app to show your negative PCR test result

Those who are vaccinated against COVID-19:

  • PCR test must be done at least 7 days ahead of exhibitions, and must be repeated every 7 days to keep accessing the exhibitions on daily basis.
  • The 18th of February test rule that was published earlier is invalid anymore starting from February 17th.
  • You must use Al Hosn app to show the (*) or the (E) sign to access the exhibition.

LANDING in Sharjah or Dubai and Staying in Abu Dhabi

1 Traveling to Abu Dhabi from Sharjah or Dubai airports

You can go directly to Abu Dhabi from the airport and wait for the PCR test result at your accommodation in Abu Dhabi. The result will be relayed to you through an SMS to your registered mobile number.

2 At Dubai and Sharjah airports, travellers are required to do a PCR test on arrival and before immigration. There are signs at the airports showing the location of the PCR testing facility.
3 Once the traveller do the PCR test, he/she will get a sticker on the back cover of their passports with the initials (PH). Do not leave the airport before doing the PCR test and getting the (PH) sticker on your passport.
4 Travelers can pass easily at the checkpoint at Abu Dhabi border once they show the (PH) sticker
5 The IDEX and NAVDEX print-at-home event badge will exempt you from the current quarantine period in Abu Dhabi.
6 Travelers can proceed right away to their hotel or accommodation in Abu Dhabi from Dubai or Sharjah and wait for the PCR test result there. No need to wait at the airport, in Dubai or in Sharjah.

Before traveling back home, you can book your required PCR test at the nearby drive-through testing centre in Zayed Sports City through SEHA app.
